Just imagine this, you just landed in the beautiful island that is Barbados, and surprisingly, you have nothing to do. Well, that is where you are wrong, my friend because even though Barbados maybe a small island, it caters to anybody and everybody!!!

If you are interested in history then look no further than George Washington's house! Yes, his house is in Barbados, well one of them anyways. In the early 1750's, Washington took a visit to Barbados and he loved it so much he spent about two months there. In fact, Barbados is the only country outside of the United States that he went to. When you take a look inside, it can give a glimpse into what life was like during that time. At the bottom floor you will see Washington's living arrangements and on the second floor, there holds a mini museum where a lot of tools used for labor and restraint are seen.

If you go at the right time, your eyes will be blessed with the sight of the sun set. You might even see a hint of pink in the sand.

                                Traveling to Barbados?
Before you even think about stepping foot on the island, you have to at least plan your trip. How do you even plan a trip anywhere? Well, one thing is for certain that you need money in order to travel, so make sure you are aware of the country's currency and then plan your budget. The currency in Barbados is the Barbadian Dollar and it doubles the amount in US currency so it's simple math.

Also, make sure that you are able to get your passport. No worry about visas unless you're staying for more than six months. However, get your passport beforehand because "passport processing takes between 6 to 8 weeks, however, if you choose an expedited service, you can receive a faster processing time. There is a $60 fee for expedited requests." (USPS Offers Passport Application Tips). Now, after you waited about two long months and you finally got your passport, you can plan your flight. Searching for a flights online will benefit you in finding flights with hotels along with its amenities.
Coral Sands Beach Resort

If you're not swimming with money, it's best to find a reasonable place to stay but even though a place can be cheap, the services may be terrible and the environment can be unsafe so look at the reviews also. For example, Bridgetown is an interesting place to visit. It is in the southern west part of Barbados and actually, Bridgetown the same place that George Washington's house is that is mentioned earlier. In the city, lies a resort you want to visit named the Coral Sands Beach Resort with a flight and hotel less than 3,000 dollars and their services are satisfactory.

The resort is around southern Barbados surrounded by various beaches and activities to do. If you're not feeling the restaurant in the resort then, you can explore your surroundings and look for restaurants that cater to local cuisine like Braddie's Bar,where "Finger-licking good food, hip-swaying music and best-priced drinks make Braddie's one of the best rum
